Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join the U.S. Bank Product Risk Management (PRISM) Program to support the critical risk assessment process for business changes that help the Bank meet its strategic goals. Business Changes are reviewed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations while identifying applicable risks and ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to support successful implementation of the change. The PRISM Program is uniquely positioned within the Risk Management Framework and this facilitates collaboration between the business lines and multiple risk management groups.

This Business Change Analyst position is an extremely important role within the PRISM review process, and directly facilitates the review of business changes that require PRISM approval. A successful candidate will work closely with a wide variety of risk programs, business line risk groups, project teams, senior management, and other members of the PRISM Program Office to ensure business changes follow the PRISM review process in an efficient manner. Additionally, this position will support ongoing program enhancement initiatives and other governance controls for the PRISM program.

Essential Functions

  • Review business changes submitted to the PRISM program for accuracy and completeness while providing credible challenge to stakeholders

  • Communicate effectively while building strong relationships with operations and compliance risk groups as well as business line risk groups, project owners, and senior management

  • Initiate conversations and conduct meetings with program stakeholders to facilitate review of business changes

  • Assist with the development and testing of the PRISM technology solution within Archer

  • Analyze and interpret business change data captured during the PRISM review process

  • Assist with program governance and ongoing program enhancement initiatives

  • Contribute to stakeholder forums and respond to inquiries and feedback from program users

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business

  • Considerable understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environment and able to balance competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met

  • Business Change Management experience preferred

  • Merchant Services experience is preferred

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Experience working within Archer eGRC applications is preferred 

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
