Pay: $22.50/hourShift: 1 Full-Time position / Overnight shift (11p-7a) days of the week varyMust have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret level clearanceMust be 18High School Diploma/GEDValid Driver's License6 Months of Customer Service Experience Required - Security/Military/Law Enforcement Experience & Supervisory Experience are preferredSecurity License class will be scheduled for you within 2 weeks if you do not have oneJob Description:Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, thatestablished rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities andclient in emergency situations.May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management ordesignated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counselingand disciplinary actions.Assists in the training of Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers, and review of post orders.Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensureadequate security coverage of all posts.Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all securityrequirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with stateand federal laws, carries out lead or supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following:interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching andappraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolvingproblems; and, making hiring and termination recommendations.Carries out specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.Job Requirements:With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
