Ameriprise Financial Senior HR Compliance Analyst (R23_0000001937) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Ameriprise Financial has an exciting opportunity to join the HR Compliance team! This individual would support the design and implementation of HR Compliance programs that measure and support compliance with relevant federal and major state employment laws. Which would include program management, risk mitigation activities, analyses, reporting, compliance reviews, and training. Provide subject matter expertise for the government agencies, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), through consultation and in partnership with internal stakeholders, HR Centers of Excellence, and senior leaders identify activities to improve compliance and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities Provide program management support for OFCCP requirements including but not limited to EEO and Affirmative Action, including development of adequate policies, processes, key performance indicators, and communications to efficiently implement and achieve goals. Review internal business practices, policies, philosophies, analyze data, and work with HR business partners and HR Centers of Excellence to identify potential gaps with compliance. Provide consultation and effective day-to-day HR compliance oversight to close recognized gaps. Build and maintain tools for tracking efforts across the organization and to identify areas for improvement. Lead internal analyses for adverse impact, selection, compensation, workspace audits, and compliance issues to prepare for external (OFCCP) audits. Bring up issues as required. Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and developments. Investigate inquiries and provide compliance advice and recommendations to internal clients. Partner with Talent Acquisition and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams to identify potential community outreach programs to acquire and accommodate all qualified sectors of the workforce. Define roles and responsibilities between HR Compliance, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to expand the effectiveness of community outreach and other defined good faith efforts. Assist HR Compliance Department with other ad hoc projects, including research of applicable regulations and analysis on their effect on HR business practices. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent (2-years) 3 to 5 years Relevant Experience supporting compliance related to affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, I-9s, and work experience with a high degree of attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office with at least intermediate Excel skills. Ability to work with large data sets and extract key analysis from data. High degree of attention to detail. Strong oral communication skills and ability to explain compliance concepts.
