Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Senior Project Manager with our client in Minneapolis, MN. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of project deliverables as defined in the project charter, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality standards. This role actively engages stakeholders throughout the project life cycle, utilizing industry-standard project management methodologies to meet project objectives and deliverables effectively.Key Responsibilities:
Define, estimate, and schedule project tasks and interdependencies to achieve project goals using a well-defined project plan/work breakdown structure.
Identify project resource requirements and collaborate with teams to meet project milestones and deadlines, coaching and mentoring resources as needed.
Adhere to project management methodologies and maintain project artifacts and records.
Establish and track key success metrics, implement corrective actions, and facilitate project change requests as necessary.
Communicate project status, risks, issues, and action plans with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and project success.
Serve as a key escalation point, proactively addressing risks and issues that may significantly impact project outcomes.
Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and project teams to align project objectives, gain buy-in, and drive successful project delivery.
Transition project deliverables into daily business operations upon completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in critical path scheduling, defining dependencies, validating durations, and delegating work effectively.
Ability to manage complex projects with integration across multiple work streams, including working with external vendors.
Strong ability to understand technical requirements and execute day-to-day project management, including issue resolution, risk management, and team support.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining project schedules, facilitating meetings, and driving positive outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with internal customers and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
Ability to present updates and project statuses to leadership in a clear and structured manner.
