Robert Half Skilled Labor Recruiter- 100% onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Recruiter. This role is essential to our organization as it involves developing and implementing new hiring strategies, sourcing potential candidates, and managing the full hiring cycle. This role is also responsible for heavy sourcing on Indeed and handling a requisition load of over 40 positions, including skilled labor jobs such as electricians, apprentices, laborers, and site supervisors. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new hiring strategies to attract skilled labor talent.

• Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding.

• Utilize various platforms, such as Indeed, to source potential candidates.

• Manage a requisition load of over 40 positions, including electrical apprentices, electricians, journeyman, laborers, and site supervisors.

• Conduct background checks as part of the hiring process.

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner.

• Utilize recruitment tools and systems to track applicants and maintain up-to-date records of candidates.

• Address and resolve any issues or inquiries related to the recruitment process.

• Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.

• Stay up-to-date on current recruitment methodologies and trends in the industry. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a recruitment role

• Demonstrable experience in conducting background checks

• Proficiency in managing hiring processes

• Experience with Full Cycle Recruiting

• Familiarity with recruitment sourcing strategies

• Proficient in using Indeed for job postings and candidate sourcing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
