The Sr. Business Analyst role helps improve routine to complex organizational processes and systems by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Performs detailed requirements analysis, documents processes, and performs user acceptance in order to understand the problem, formulate the requirements and deliver the solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and documentation:

  • Identifies and defines business requirements

  • Constructs workflow charts and diagrams

  • Validates resource requirements and develops basic cost estimate models

  • Manages complex requirement conflicts and assists associate and intermediate level Business Analysts with moderately complex to complex requirement conflicts

  • Implements, modifies, tests, and administers business system applications independently

  • Improve current systems by studying current practices and designing modifications

  • Documents and communicates processes in need of improvement

  • Communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

  • Customer management and support:

  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

  • Implements, tests, and deploys solutions to business problems

  • Supports business transition and helps to establish change

  • Project management:

  • Manages medium to large size projects, develops project plans, and monitors project performance

  • Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements

  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively demonstrate the following:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business

  • Must be available for onsite business meetings (approximately once per month) in the Minneapolis MN office location

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with healthcare

  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst role or a related position

  • Microsoft Office Proficient, specifically Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, Creating Dashboards, Formulas), PowerPoint (creating/presenting presentation materials), OneNote, Outlook, Power BI, and Project

  • Must live within a commutable distance of Minneapolis MN (this position is remote but limited to the Minneapolis MN regional area)

  • Must be willing/able to report to the Minneapolis MN office location (approximately once per month or as business needs dictate) to attend in person meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Patient Access and/or Financial Clearance experience
