Sr Business Operations Manager, Global Security We are seeking a Sr Business Operations Manager, responsible for metricizing and evaluating the Global Security strategy, designing and running analytics workstreams that complement and uplift that strategy, and influencing leaders and stakeholders across General Mills in analyzing and implementing improvements based on your work. You will use your visually-impactful insights to influence the go-forward strategy of Global Security. Key Accountabilities: Leverage a passion for people-first design across strategy, planning, and operations to influence optimal partnerships, decisions, and processes (both internal and external) Translate and/or parse information across a variety of internal functional areas and teams, quickly becoming a critical subject matter expert or partner who achieves impact through others Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence Distill ambiguous customer information and experiences into critical elements of a problem, to deliver efficient and scalable solutions that uplift the whole Provide quality analysis and insight into the overall success of our strategy and recommend solutions to business obstacles, evaluating objectives, key results, and performance indicators Design and implement analytics to measure effectiveness of workstreams Interpret data to provide insights and to determine additional programs required for impact Design and deploy innovative and efficient systems and tools, backed by thoughtful and reliable training and documentation, and leverage improvements to our existing tools via tool owners Create and deliver a feedback mechanism on how to improve / do better for our operations, strategy, and planning functions, driving improvements with partner teams Build visually-engaging presentations or executive memos and influence stakeholders in new or improved directions of critical workstreams to inform go-forward success Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of business, product, or program management, preferably with experience within a shared service environment and/ or matrixed operations management Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors. Preferred Major Area of Study: Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science Preferred Qualifications: Strong self-motivation, ideation, and intellectual curiosity Strong data analytical skills using disparate data environments Strong experience with data analysis tools Strong experience presenting data-driven outcomes in visual formats, for example: Power BI, Tableau, ESRI, PowerPoint, Excel, or equivalent Ability to influence, combined with a desire to collaborate, with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Additional Considerations: International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $121700.00 - $182700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
