The Purchasing Services Department at the University of Minnesota is seeking a Travel and Corporate Card Administrator that is motivated to learn and share their talents and experiences with fellow team members. Your customer service, organization, and communication skills. Work Environment: Office, Remote or Hybrid options available. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Travel Program - 40% Manage ticket queue and work with cardholders, Navigators and Financial leadership to resolve any issues. Answer policy or procedural questions. Assist travelers with unique situations. Troubleshoot issues with reconciliation in both the Chrome River and EFS systems. Monitor invoices and payroll deductions for expense owners repaying the University due to unallowable expenses. Assist travelers with using the University's travel agency and other contracted vendors. Create and distribute reporting for University units. Navigator Group - 20% Manage the Navigator Google Group. Initiate and/or moderate discussions to ensure accurate information is being shared. Deliver the Navigating Chrome River: Train the Trainer class curriculum. Develop and deliver supplemental Navigator training. Purchasing Card and Travel Card Program - 15% Create and manage new card applications. Manage ticket queue and work with cardholders, DCA's and/or US Bank to resolve any card issues. Answer policy or procedural questions. Troubleshoot issues with reconciliation in both the EFS and Chrome River systems. Manage the Department Card Administrator (DCA) Group. Cash Advance - 15% Review and approve Cash Advance requests. Verify requests follow University policy. Verify all department approvals have been received prior to the request. Troubleshoot issues with Cash Advances. Answer policy or procedural questions. Business Expense and Hospitality policies - 10% Answer policy or procedural questions. Assist expense owners with unique situations. Qualifications Required Qualifications (please document on the resume): BA/BS degree OR a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Experience in a customer service environment. Experience in. Excel and similar programs Accounts payable, general office and financial systems experience. Preferred Qualifications (please document on the resume): Experience with creating expense reports. Experience with the travel industry.
