Job Description

Main missions (raison d'être of the position) :

Support the sales policy defined by the company. Ensures a rapid and efficient response and follow-up to all commercial requests, including the provision of samples, the sending of documentation, the response to price requests and all other information required to take an order.

Is aware of delivery times for the company's products. Negotiates with customers when delivery times do not correspond to customer requests, and keeps them informed in the event of late delivery.

Enters or transmits orders in the computer to the appropriate unit, ensures that the customer's request is correctly interpreted, that the price is correctly determined, and that acknowledgements are sent within the deadlines requested by the customer.

Ensures that the clauses mentioned in contracts or orders comply with the company's procedures and clauses, and that they are feasible. If this is not the case, makes the necessary changes.

Ensures that orders are modified and rescheduled according to customer requirements. Ensures that deadlines are met.

Researches customer complaints in accordance with company procedures.

Collects information required to issue credit notes and additional invoices.

Follows up unpaid invoices

Is responsible for archiving files.

Carries out occasional customer visits and occasionally receives customers. Ensures that the information required for maintenance is available.

Occasionally travels abroad to support business operations and ongoing projects.

Ensures that contracts or orders are compatible with company regulations. Makes any necessary changes.

Develops and maintains good working relationships with other Stanley Engineered Fastening departments.

Develops an efficient telephone service.

Assists in the training of new personnel.

Carries out any other tasks or assignments as requested by his/her line manager.

Is informed of and applies the Quality procedures in place within the Company: communicates non-conformities to the Quality Manager, communicates training needs to the Department Manager, takes care of the equipment entrusted to him/her and communicates any anomalies encountered.

Ensures, in coordination with other departments, that packaging, labelling and transport are in line with customer requirements.

Applies customer complaints procedure. Informs the customer and the sales manager in charge of following up complaints.

Multi-skills on customers or workstations within the Customer Service department.
