Job Description
AECOM is searching for an Operations Analyst for the Water Business Line covering support for Central Canada (Ontario). Role reports to VP and Manager of Operations for the GTA Water Business Line and can be based from the Markham or Mississauga offices. Role requires supporting Project Managers on business operations and project management analyst functions which may include but are not limited to:
Providing PM support on project performance, reviews, cost tracking, to maximize performance,
Assisting with providing cost budget breakdowns and ensuring the proper budget is proposed and loaded at Project Setup, including possible risk contingency, salary escalation and accurate cost rates;
Scope change preparation
Assistance loading scope changes in the AECOM project management system and updating them in the EAC Support Operations with Month End activities
Assisting in the setup of new projects upon receipt of authorization
Assisting the PMs with WAR/RAR documentation where applicable. EAC meetings quarterly at minimum
Review AR/outstanding invoices during EAC reviews.
Tracking project budgets and costs incurred Margin erosion request assistance
Assisting in submitting labor/non labor transfers as needed.
Assisting with entering amendments and project revisions into PM system
Assist the PM to maintain data quality (end dates, quarterly EACs, Performance reviews, etc) BIEE /
Unbilled review where applicable.
New Client setups / Client address/contact updates in Employee Center
Internal/External meeting organization where applicable.
Monitoring payment release for sub consultants (where applicable) once AECOM has received payment.
Intercompany agreements.
Project plan creation
Pulling cost rates for PMs
Calculating bill rates
Schedule quarterly project reviews with Ops Managers
Assisting the review of draft invoices
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience working in a consulting environment supporting project managers
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with project management software, MS Office Suite, Power BI
Experience with project financial management principles

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $61,000.00 - $85,000.00.
