JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Beaver is accepting applications for a part time Support Coordinator.
Penn State Beaver (https://beaver.psu.edu/) ’s LaunchBox , in conjunction with The Beaver Valley Hub for Innovation, Venture and Entrepreneurship ( B-Hive (https://beavervalley.launchbox.psu.edu/b-hive/) ), has an exciting part-time job opportunity . The LaunchBox is see k ing a p art- t ime Support Coordinator to work 15 hours per week to manage entrepreneurial programming at the B-Hive including oversight of day - to - day facilit y operations and business equipment, such as opening and closing the office, procuring supplies, and contacting vendors for service and repairs, etc. In addition, this position will manage the logistics of LaunchBox events at the B-Hive , including catering, technology , and general event planning . T he Support Coordinator will also recruit and retain B-HIVE co-working members, oversee me mbership manageme nt and payments, and all other business processes. They will also serve as a point perso n for entrep reneurial resource referrals and act as the primary liaison with the Beaver County Corporation for Economic Development ( BCCED (https://beavercountyced.org/) ) , the owner of the building in which the B-Hive is located .
The skills needed for this position include an ability to use cutting edge technology for business needs , organi zation , ease with building relationships with clients , aptitude to interact with diverse industries, people, stakeholders, and partners , and excellent and timely customer service . In additi on , a passion for le arn ing about e ntrepreneurial programming and resources sponsored by the LaunchBox will be key to thei r success in the position .
