AON Reinsurance - Senior Technical Assistant in Montreal, Canada

This opportunity may be available as a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office in Montreal, Quebec.

What the day will look like

  • Support the broking team with various client deliverables. This includes developing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and graphics, creating and working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and functions, using analytics to support content and coordinating with colleagues to complete the final product.

  • Enter data in proprietary systems and produce relevant reports.

  • Perform various administrative tasks (event organization, meetings, etc.).

  • Use knowledge of the department's procedures and systems to prepare routine correspondence, documentation, forms, notices, or statistical reports.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Possess 5+ years of data manipulation or office administration experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.

  • Interpersonal skills, enabling a constructive exchange of ideas and collaboration to constantly improve our practices.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work in an efficiently.

  • Ability to work well independently, and in a team.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, work environment with many interruptions and multiple priorities.

  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance is an asset.

  • Post-secondary education
