As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant - Oracle Cloud HCM & ERP – Senior Sales Consultant (Advanced Technology Sales Consultant), you will work as a member of a pre-sales team to solve business and technical problems for prospective clients and customers. You will uncover and understand customer goals and challenges and determine which Oracle Cloud Application or Technology product will solve their business needs.

Responsibilities

• Actively maintain in-depth technical Oracle product knowledge and Industry trends & technologies:

o Oracle SaaS ERP, SCM, EPM, and HCM Clouds – architecture, operations, security, configuration, extensibility, integration, analytics

o Oracle PaaS Cloud – database, development tools, integration tools, analytic tools, digital assistant, identity management, CASB, etc…

o Advanced technologies like AI, IoT, ML, Blockchain, etc.

• Maintain awareness of relevant competitive Enterprise Applications products and technologies

• Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then link them to a set of products/solutions provided by Oracle

• Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation and demonstration skills

• Responds to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s, proposals with respect to product/solution information

• Create and maintain relationships with key partners at our prospects

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Prefer at least 10 years’ experience in a related field

• Prefer bilingual English/French proficiency

• Technical experience selling, implementing, and/or using enterprise software, ideally in Cloud.

• Technical knowledge a plus, including but not limited to Enterprise Applications (ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM) Technologies, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, REST, SOAP, WAF, SIEM, networking, Relational Database Technology, Object-Oriented (OO) programming skills/understanding, Middleware Technologies, etc.

• Prefer background in ERP, SCM, EPM, and/or HCM applications

• Skilled in presenting and demonstrating

• Enthusiastic and confident

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to IT Managers)

• Ability and willingness to travel as needed

• Canadian Public Sector experience a plus, including:

• Local City and Provincial governments

• Utilities and Authorities (Public Services, Water/Sewer, Transit, Airport, etc.)

• Public Schools and Higher Education

• Public Health and Healthcare

• Higher Ed

Location for position is Canada (Toronto, Quebec, Montreal preferred locations.)

Providing presales technical / functional support while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal direction. A resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience helpful advantageous 5 years enterprise applications and/or cloud technology background. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations! Ability to travel as needed.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $77,500 to $144,000 CAD per annum

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

This job requires proficiency in the English language.
