As the Operations Manager, you will have the vital responsibility of overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the seamless functioning of our organization. You will be a key driver in optimizing efficiency, enhancing productivity, and fostering sustainable growth.

Your role will encompass delivering exceptional business results, including upholding safety, quality, stewardship, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). It will be your mandate to cultivate a zero loss mindset, eliminating defects, and attaining productivity and cost-saving objectives. Effective communication, both internally and externally, will be essential, as well as exhibiting exceptional people management skills, coaching and developing team members, promoting equality and inclusion, and demonstrating self-motivation. The ability to organize, manage time efficiently, multitask, think critically, and troubleshoot will be critical skills necessary for success in this role.

Job Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Streamline processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain effective communication channels, ensuring the seamless flow of information across the organization.

• Lead and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality control measures.

• Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

• Drives company policies and procedures; identifying training and development needs; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.

• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Proven experience in operations management

• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.

• Solid understanding of business operations, including supply chain management, process optimization, and quality control.

• Proficient in using relevant software and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
