Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise supply planning and funds control activities.

  • Skill in reading, interpreting, and applying applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems and/ or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.

  • Track supplies and equipment requirements using research tools and processes.

  • Manage Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) for backorder conditions.

  • Conduct analyses on supply metrics to optimize performance.

  • Provide guidance to customers on requisitioning and parts delivery process.

  • Efficiently manage inventory schedules and address discrepancies through causative research.

  • Perform Base Supply duties as necessary to support work center tasks and ensure compliance with directives.

  • Participate in the development and execution of logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory.

  • Conduct distribution and network studies to identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide regular activity and status reports to management to facilitate decision-making processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen.

  • Associate degree required.

  • 8+ years of supervisory experience in USAF logistics or commercial logistics.

  • Proficiency in Air Force materiel management procedures, including requisitioning, equipment management, repair cycle, and MICAP programs.

  • Experience in warehouse control and supply record maintenance.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card

Preferred Qualifications

  • Air Force Specialty Code, 2S071-Supply Management Craftsman

  • Familiarity with supply regulations AFH 23-123, AFI 23-101, and AFMAN 23-122

  • Working knowledge of ILS-S, LIMS-EV, DPAS, FEDLOG, BLADE
