Job Description:

This is a position that supports one of the largest contributors to our business model, the 988, 836 and 834 machine platforms. This product is typically the leader in our business to develop latest solutions to provide product leading value to our customers that will typically replicate to the remaining product line. As a Machine, System Integration Engineering Specialist you will direct and participate in the design and development of complex engineering projects related to machine development to ensure products provide superior customer value in comparison to the competition in terms of features, performance, durability, and quality, with considerations of cost, manufacturing, velocity, and serviceability.

Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Developing solutions for complex technical engineering problems and may be accountable for the design or improvement of complex systems including advanced concepts that align the product to the product line strategy.

• Understanding of customers’ needs and product application as well as the competitive products, and understanding cost drivers.

• Keeping up-to-date with technology and developing increased technical breadth and/or depth.

• Designing new products and contributing to establishing the product line strategy for the product group. Examples include: defining the program, machine configuration, and modularity strategy; evaluating new products and competitive products; communicating technology to customers, team members, suppliers, and other units; supporting and advising other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers, suppliers, and other process partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

• Extensive machine product design experience

• Large program/project management experience
