Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. This role involves a high level of interaction with customers, aiding in order processing and providing overall support to the sales team. The successful candidate will be comfortable with administrative tasks and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and assisting customers with their inquiries

• Processing customer orders in a timely and efficient manner

• Finalizing driver's schedules on a daily basis

• Drafting and emailing contracts for container customers using an existing template

• Responding to customer inquiries made via email or phone contact forms

• Inputting all dumping and hauling information into Excel

• Filing receipts, invoices, and creating labels and folders for filing purposes

• Scanning orders and sending them to relevant parties as necessary

• Following up with customers regarding overdue container returns

• Providing back-office support to sales representatives.

Skills:

• Experience in Business Sales

• Familiarity with Calls For Bids processes

• Proven Administrative Assistance skills. Requirements • Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role with at least 1 year of experience

• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills

• Strong understanding and experience with business sales

• Familiarity with the process of handling Calls for Bids

• Experience providing administrative assistance in a professional setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customer interactions

• Proficiency in using computers, including MS Office Suite

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree would be a plus.
