Position Summary:

The Manager of CHP (College of Health Professions) Business Services is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementing of all business-related activities of the CHP. Provides leadership in the day-to-day management of the CHP budget, personnel, mail/shipping/receiving, safety and security, and copy services. Serves as building coordinator for the most heavily used, and most valuable building on campus. As member of the senior CHP management team, routinely assumes responsibility for an ever-increasing wide variety of special projects, as directed by the Dean of CHP.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business related field. Three years of experience in a related field, to include planning; supervision; resource, personnel and facilities management. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive attitude. Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business related field. Six years of experience in a related field, to include planning; supervision; resource, personnel and facilities management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops college budget annually. Develops college budget reduction plans as required. Conducts new program analysis. Monitors compensation for faculty, staff and students, acquisitions and S&E budgets. Reviews expense reports signed by the CHP Dean. Provides leadership and budgetary support/reporting to the CHP Dean, department chairs & managers. Provides financial information for various organizational membership surveys/program accreditation. Provides budgetary reporting and analysis support for CHP's Carls Center and Institute for Health and Business Insights. Provides invoicing support for Institute for Health and Business Insights and Mobile Health Central. Consults, reviews and advises on personnel issues including personnel transactions submitted by CHP departments. Supervises CHP Dean's office payroll. Point person for CHP grants and contracts. Oversees building maintenance, including custodial services (building coordinator). Oversees repairs/renovation/follow-up for remaining building project issues. Responsible for management communications with campus officials in the absence of the Dean and Associate Dean. Responsible for communication with HPB (Health Professions Building) occupants impacted by building-related issues. Serves as co-ADA coordinator. Serves as Emergency coordinator. Responsible for safety and security planning and preparedness and staff training. Supervises Coordinator of CHP security and events, which includes overseeing the following: -Room scheduling in Health Professions Building to include classes and meetings. -Monitors/analyzes financial and operational data of copy services. -Liaison to copy services vendor. -Contract development and compliance of copy services. -CHP Dean's accounts reconciliation. -Lenel Security System administration. -Key issuance administration. -Mailroom. -Supervises student worker who support mailroom, event furniture set-up & stocking of copier supplies.
