*Position Title: Material Handler/Shipping Associate *
Position Summary:
This position supports our retail or wholesale fulfillment center by operating machines/forklifts to build pallets and individual orders.
Essential Job Functions:
· Pick/Pack product for shipments
· Forklift Operation
· Follow all company policies and procedures
· Follow safety guidelines
· Regular attendance is essential
· Other duties as needed
Skills and Abilities:
· Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or greater occasionally and lift no less than 25 lbs. frequently
· Must be able to reach overhead occasionally
· Must be able to grasp and grip
· Some repetitive motion
· Must be able to forward bend at the knees
· Acceptable Vision to work within a manufacturing work environment
· Attention to detail
· Safety and quality conscious
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Must have forklift experience
Work Environment:
The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter while performing the essential job functions in a warehouse environment which may include loud noise levels, vibration, hot/cold temperatures, and moving objects or vehicles.
