We are looking for driven and creative engineering leaders on our Productivity Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in defining our strategy for business processes, systems, applications, information, and data. You will be results-driven, leading teams to deliver software products at the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ServiceNow engineering team with a passion for mentoring and growing top engineering talent.

• As a hands-on manager, you will participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads in the team.

• Drive execution of product, services and technology road-map by collaborating with team, product management, software development teams and business partners.

• Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning, while holding a high bar for craftsmanship.

• Participate with senior management in developing a long-term technology road map.

• Be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a strong bias for action and focus on craftsmanship.

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering/technical management and people management.

• 3+ years of industry experience with the ServiceNow platform, whether building the platform or leading integrations and implementations within other large enterprises.

• 7+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and large-scale software engineering

• Experience programming in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages(like Java/CPP/Scala/etc.)

• Experience with scripting languages such as (Bash, PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of developing web applications using both front-end and back-end components.

• Familiarity with one or more ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Assets, Risk, etc.

• Relevant experience with end to end monitoring platforms that can track various aspects of a complex software application or its underlying infrastructure (Observability).

• Strong management skills for planning and executing complex multi-team projects that crosses multiple infrastructure domains.

• Experience building and running in production (24x7 environments) large-scale distributed systems deployed on the cloud or datacenter.

• Ability to recruit for and manage technical teams.

• Experience developing high quality real-time applications to support critical business requirements with an eye for a seamless User - Experience that is delivered through efficient and scalable integrations.

• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in software design and architecture, including performance, security and scalability.

• Strong written and verbal communicator who is very organized, able to think entrepreneurially and works well in a cross-collaboration environment.

The pay range for this role is $144,000 to $235,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
