You not only optimize your own code but make sure software developers are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Development Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Software Development teams work all across the company, in areas such as information retrieval, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, security, data compression, user interface design; the list goes on and is growing every day. Operating with scale and speed, our exceptional software developers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way.

The Development Productivity team empowers the AR team to deliver high-quality products at scale by investing in three areas: Metrics, DevX, and Quality. Metrics enables teams to make data driven decisions via data and metric collection, processing and deriving insights from the lab and the field. DevX charges our product development teams with the tools to get their work done with minimal friction. Quality enables teams to deliver quality consumer and developer products.

The Test and Quality Development Productivity team interacts closely with the product teams, collaborating with product teams on test strategy/plan/cases, quality metrics, and tooling/framework to enable automation.
