Citigroup FINANCE RPTG INTMD ANALYST in Mumbai, India
The Finance Reporting Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for managing FullSuite / AE SPIRT (Significant Process Incident Response Team). They should ensure smooth functioning of all BAU activities while adhering to all control guidelines. They will interact with Tech / Accounting teams / Upstream / Downstream platform partners to discuss, resolve and escalate issues appropriately to manage expectations.
Work on Complex data & functional Fullsuite queries, drive resolutions across different groups
Hold external teams (Technology / GFTS) accountable and ensure they deliver against deadlines
Act as “reviewer” for critical and complex processes
Act as SME for platform
Assess impact of changes to process/platforms and identify mitigating strategies
Define processes for own area, standardize processes across regions/centers
Identify redundancies/improvements in own processes and implement the same
Identify opportunities to reduce INC volume by collaborating with different user groups for platform trainings with
Define/Standardize/Analyze process metrics
Escalate externally for delays in process/tasks
Escalation to a senior in case of any misses/delays
Design & Implement process controls and review them for applicability
Manage and report control issues with transparency
Can drive SPIRT Projects/Initiatives
Manage, assign and track team members work responsibilities
Assist in the development of process efficiencies and improvement efforts as well as data quality improvement projects
Interpret policies, guidelines, and processes and resolve complex problems and transactions
Assist with the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Qualifications:
6+ years of related experience
Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
Ability to work with multiple functions
Proven problem-solving skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
