Our teams regularly work with Regulators and other Government bodies, including the EPFO, PFRDA, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Income-tax Department, etc. on projects and other areas spanning over retirement benefits.

The Role

As an Analyst within the Retirement consulting business in India, you will work as a part of project teams that are focused on understanding the employee retirement benefit needs of the corporate and assist in providing Regulatory and Trust related consulting services for corporates as well as special projects around the design and implementation of broader benefit plans. Clients include both subsidiaries of global companies and large Indian companies. You will work closely with a variety of senior consultants and qualified actuaries, who will help and guide you to increase your knowledge in the employee benefits retirement area and sharpen your skills – all while providing a blend of client facing skills as well.

This position offers an opportunity for professional development and involvement in many areas of Retirement Consulting like:

  • Retirement Advisory services: Providing companies with consulting advice on governance and best practices in administering their retirement plans like Provident Fund, Superannuation, Gratuity and National Pension System, etc; as well as opportunities in working in Merger & Acquisition transactions.

  • Plan design: Advising on appropriate employee retirement plans for companies, modelling impact on future costs and building business cases using industry market benchmarking.

  • Interpretation of new legislation in the sphere of employee/ retirement benefits and analyzing its impact on clients.

  • Prepares preliminary data and document reconciliation, detailed data query files and sends to reviewer for review

  • Gains an understanding of the Indian employee retirement benefit plans

  • Deliver work in accordance to project deadlines

  • Support and learn from experienced colleagues that serve as the project manager on various projects including:

  • Creating project plans

  • Increased client interaction

  • Scheduling and managing regular status meeting calls

  • Ensuring appropriate and effective communication among team members

  • Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

  • Work collaboratively with other colleagues and consultants to determine initial data needs, examine obtained client information and perform any follow up work required to populate complete information sets

  • Manage your time effectively between multiple assignments at a time

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (2022/2021 passouts) – preferably in Commerce, Finance, Accountancy, Financial Mathematics, Business Management, Taxation or Economics

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively multi-task/ manage a number of on-going projects at a given point in time

  • Reasonably good analytical and research capabilities

  • Open attitude to ideas, learning and change

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
