We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of MEP Commissioning to join our team and lead the commissioning efforts for data center projects. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems commissioning, ensuring they meet design specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP systems, data center infrastructure, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets for MEP systems in data center projects. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a skilled commissioning team, including commissioning engineers and technicians. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team's effectiveness and growth.

Quality Assurance: Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring that all MEP systems are installed, tested, and documented according to project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular quality control inspections.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to MEP commissioning and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.

Client Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project status updates. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality commissioning services.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with MEP equipment vendors and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment and coordinate commissioning activities effectively.

Documentation: Create comprehensive commissioning reports, test procedures, and record all relevant data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of MEP systems post-commissioning and recommend adjustments or improvements to enhance energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Budget Management: Manage the commissioning budget, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

Health and Safety: Ensure that all commissioning activities adhere to safety protocols and standards. Promote a culture of safety within the commissioning team.

What will make you a good fit for the role?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

A minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP commissioning for data center projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.

Demonstrated experience managing commissioning teams and projects from initiation to completion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
