Do you want to be part of the Materials Planning team based out of our office in Baierbrunn, Germany?

During this internship, you will have an opportunity to gain experience in supply chain management and supplier management. You will get first-hand experience in supplier negotiation activities for successful alignments and first sample ordering. As an intern, you'll be part of a buyer planner team and work cross functionally with other teams within supply chain internal and external customers. Furthermore, optimization of processes will be an essential part of your tasks.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Supporting for planning, procuring and scheduling C part materials and services within Oracle in order to meet the requirements of the factory and customers

  • Managing inventory levels for C part in order to meet set inventory targets with the minimum risk of obsolescence

  • Preparing and participating in the pre-negotiation with suppliers for C parts to prepare supplier contracts

  • Manage suppliers for C parts to improve KPI's and support lean manufacturing inventory flow

  • Participation as required at all meetings relating to material availability and to support new product introduction

  • Support in end-of-life process orders for first sample ordering

  • Ad hoc team support

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Ongoing studies within supply chain management or equivalent business studies

  • You have gained first experiences in supply chain or procurement during internships

  • Comfortable working with MS Office tools (Excel)

  • You communicate fluently in both English and German
