Intermountain Healthcare Solutions Center Consultant - Employee Relations Specialist in Murray, Utah

Job Description:

This position provides support to HR Business Partners, Leadership and Caregivers, primarily with Employee Relations cases involving Licensure, Privacy, Unemployment and other investigations, corrective actions or HR issues as needed.

This position provides support to HR Business Partners, Leadership and Caregivers in the areas of Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Data Management, Employee Relations, Talent Management and coordination between the Solutions Center and HR Networks of Expertise (NOEs).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Functional human resources experience in either employee relations, compensation/benefit administration, training/development, or employment/recruiting.

  • Basic understanding of human resource related laws and regulations.

  • Excellent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree obtained through an accredited institution and three (3) years of work experience in Human Resources or Five years of work experience. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

  • PHR or SPHR certification.

  • Knowledge of HR systems, database applications, talent management systems, and file scanning applications.

  • Human Resources experience in a healthcare setting.

Physical Requirements:

Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.

Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

See and read computer monitors and documents.

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
