Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Business Technology Analyst. Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Position Summary: To support our current and ongoing initiatives we are seeking a Business Technology Analyst to join our Service team. They will work as a key team member on our ERP Project and will continue to support the ERP and act as the primary support contact for the department with the new MS Dynamics based system. Post implementation, they will be responsible for coordinating issues that arise with the new ERP, analyzing business operations and coordinating requested changes to the system as well as testing changes on behalf of the department. They will also play a significant role with Change Management for the ERP relative to our Service Department operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Short term (1 year) - Represent our Service Department or Parts Department on ERP team to achieve the following:

  • Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with current systems and be able to translate into new platform.
  • Assist with gap analysis in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts(SMEs)
  • Investigate end users' preference while making build decisions.
  • Analyzing business operations as they relate to build decisions.
  • Analyzing data conversion needs and work with team, vendors and SMEs to facilitate successful data migration.
  • End to end testing of configured systems environments
  • Collaborate with peers to create and deliver effective learning experiences for all levels of end users.

Long Term (Post ERP Golive)- Support the Service Department employees in the new ERP environment:

  • Troubleshoot problems and questions from end users, escalating to IT or vendor when required.
  • Serve as liaison between end users, third parties, and ERP Support Vendor(s).
  • Support the life cycle of business applications including ongoing administration and application testing and support.
  • Develop and implement process changes, workflow, or system improvements to ensure business continuity and compliance and be a catalyst for the change.
  • Act as Chief Data Steward for Service, championing the importance of accurate and complete data and coaching and training in this area.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables such as functional requirements or user stories, use cases, workflow/process diagrams, etc.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of technology integrations between different systems.
  • Define requirements for data analytics and defined Power BI reporting.
  • Represent Service on AXGC Committee as needed.
  • Responsible for training new employees on the new ERP system. Create new training materials and updating content as needed.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain and Logistics, Information Technology, or related field preferred but will consider substitution of appropriate experience.
  • 1 -2 years' related experience required, ideally as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Strongly developed problem-solving skills are crucial in this role.
  • Experience Upgrading, troubleshooting and implementing new software programs is desired.

  • Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) technology.
    • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics365 a plus.
  • Proficient use of mobile technology with advanced utilization of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
  • Occasional travel up to 25% will be required.
