Aerotek CNC Machinist - CAN START ASAP in Muskego, Wisconsin

Details:

  • Openings: 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) or 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am)!

  • Pay: $20-$30/hr (Plus a shift premium!)

  • Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401k match, 1-2 weeks of PTO after 90 days.

  • Opportunity: Stable contracts for defense sub-contractors. They are growing sales with major contractors and are opening a 3rd shift.

Duties & Responsibilities once fully trained:

  • Perform setups and operating on various lathes and mills on very precision defense components.

  • Ability to hold tight tolerances.

  • Operators: 1-3 years of operating experience.

  • Machinists: 1-5 years of set up experience.

  • Inspect each part, using predetermined gaging instruments such as micrometers, depth micrometers, master verniers, and other job-specific gaging instruments to maintain specified print requirements

  • Load, unload machines, adjust machine tools; remove, sharpen, and replace drills and other tooling, and replace worn carbide inserts.

  • Cleanout machine and prepare for material change

  • Troubleshoot problems such as tool misalignment, or other occurrences that affect the part dimensionally and make appropriate adjustments
