A Day in the Life

Technical Requirements Definition

  • Work with Functional Analysts and Business Stakeholders (if needed) to create clearly understand functional requirements and specifications.

  • Document measurable technical requirements, system performance expectations, development standards, and security needs - to clearly measure progress.

  • Collaborate with the Architects to analyze and document the impact of proposed technology to the existing enterprise technology architecture to drive compliance with architectural requirements and standards and communicate any potential risks to the management.

  • Identify end-to-end processes and operations likely to be impacted due to the technical build of the solution, document and communicate impacts to the relevant solution and process owners to plan for process changes Solution Design

  • Communicate key technical issues anticipated in solution design to Functional Analyst and business stakeholders and revise functional requirements/ use cases/ business case as needed.

  • Analyze functional requirements, and translate them into technical requirements/ scenarios (including process flows, data flows, migration and system integration, interface testing, and technical data requirements) and communicate functional requirements to the Solution Developers

  • Provide detailed technical inputs to Application Developers and collaborate with the appropriate teams during different stages of solution delivery as needed (Design, build & configure, integration, testing, etc.) to support the build of a solution meets all technical requirements.

  • Deep expertise to prototype and define configuration and customization.

  • Lead validation processes.

  • Gather stakeholder and use case information to correct align teams to applications for their intended use.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 12+ years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Previous Medtronic experience

  • Vendor management

  • Triage support.
