A Day in the Life

  • Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Working as part of the IT EA team

  • Coordinating architecture discussions for all IT Mfg. projects

  • Architecture documentation and approval coordination thru ARB – Architectural Review Board

  • Collaborate closely with other Solution Architects and Enterprise Architecture stakeholders to ascertain the seamless integration and alignment to Medtronic Standards

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the MES solution

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configurations for the system.

  • Experience and knowledge of Manufacturing shopfloor applications – OEE, MES, SPC, CMMS etc.

  • Experience working as a technical architect for mfg. shopfloor applications, preferably, MES and OEE

  • Must have good knowledge and understanding of ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards for Mfg.

  • Experience working on SQL Server and sound knowledge of database concepts

  • Knowledge of Data analytics, KAFKA / Event streaming, data warehousing, CDC from a view of extraction, aggregation and visualization is a big advantage

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Requires a University Degree and minimum of 18 + years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience

7+ years of managerial experience, which includes goal settings and performance management.
