North Central College, IL Adjunct - Athletic Bands in Naperville, Illinois
Position Summary:
The Department of Music in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College seeks an adjunct faculty to direct the Cardinal Marching Band and the Cardinal Basketball Band.
Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship. Instruction will take place in-person at North Central’s main campus. Applicants with professional experience are especially desired. All candidates should hold, at minimum, a master’s degree in Music Education or Conducting. Successful experience directing a marching band at the high school or college level is also required.
The Cardinal Marching Band rehearses MW 6:30-8:30pm in the fall semester and the Cardinal Basketball Band rehearses MW 6:30-8:30pm the first 8 weeks of the spring semester. Band Camp begins August 6th, 2024.
