The Automation Engineer will work on a team to drive new product development from concept to deployment. This role will be a part of conceiving, designing, developing, and maintaining innovative products for operations that may include robotics, mechatronics, sortation solutions, packaging automation, storage, material handling or other hardware solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Integrate components like actuators, PLCs, robotic arms, conveyors, etc. into solutions that will automate existing operations

• Identify and execute opportunities to reduce production process costs

• Combine hardware and software to create solutions to best optimize production operations

• Collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to make our systems and operations better.

• Effectively communicate issues and findings using both written reports and verbal discussions
