Description:

TEKsystems is looking to add an experienced AV installer with commercial experience to increase the bandwidth of their current team. The normal work day will typically be 8 am-4 pm. Current projects that this person will be impacting will consist of but not limited to; paging systems/TV installs within schools, office space conference room setups, sound bars, and TV installs at apartment complexes. Programming experience is highly sought after but not required for this position. Technicians will typically drive directly to the job site. Must have their own tools

Responsibilities:

-Design, program, and implement AV control systems for various projects.

-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.

-Develop and test control system code for AV equipment, including touch panels, processors, and other devices.

-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems.

-Provide on-site support for system commissioning and client training.

-Maintain and update system documentation, including schematics, code, and user manuals.

-Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Certification in AV programming (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer, AMX ACE).

-Experience with networked AV systems and IP-based control.
