Philips Category Sourcing Manager Americas - Industrial Equipment in Nashville, Tennessee

You will own the global procurement responsibility of the category of Test and Measurement (test instruments and the calibration thereof), whilst at the same time you will impact other procurement categories in our Industrial and Real Estate (IRE) category team.

Your role:

  • Globally leading the category Test and Measurement: responsible for managing stakeholders, build a new category strategy, establish and manage a qualified supply base, running large projects, and drive category performance

  • Managing the Industrial categories (CAPEX, MRO) for the Americas (North- and South America): supporting your IRE colleagues by providing local insights from the Americas into their categories, and be the single point of contact for your stakeholders for all Industrial categories

  • Making sure that your category is 100% complying with company and government quality requirements and that your suppliers are focused on delivering quality solutions

  • Responsible for developing industry-leading value propositions, organizing on-site supplier innovation events, managing contractual and commercial relationships, and conducting business review meetings with internal stakeholders for your supply base.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields (MBA is a plus).

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related functional areas, with multi-year experience in manufacturing and/or field service operations.

  • Strong affinity for quality and the medical industry, with experience working in global virtual teams, including third-party collaborators.

  • Strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to deliver solutions and manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers; ability to travel up to 25%.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Nashville is $105,000 to $150,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
