Amazon’s Last Mile Driver Training & Programs team is seeking an experience communications leader to act as the Senior Program Manager, Driver T&P Communications. This position will support planning and execution of large-scale product, program, and technical initiatives through bar-raising communication campaigns. In this role, the Senior Program Manager, Driver T&P will be a key member of AMZL training team owning internal/external communications, developing key messaging that helps drive our programs to fruition and world class document writing leading Business Reviews, Program Reporting, and other strategic document creation that successfully captures the current state of Driver T&P . This positions impact will be essential to the growth and success of our Last Mile Business Organization.

The Senior Program Manager, Driver T&P will need to have experience influencing others and capable to work effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations. This individual will have knowledge as a self-starter, program leader, communicator, and problem solver with analytical and operational skills. In this role, the Senior Program Manager, Driver T&P will work with worldwide cross-functional teams on complex logistics problems, deal with ambiguity, and provide innovative solutions driving content engagement and retention.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop key aspects of the program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver the new program.

  • Leverage data and analytics/visualization to build out best in class Worldwide training at assigned facilities and our long term driver strategy.

  • Support idea generation for the tech strategy with cross-department teams to leverage new and existing technologies to improve and build new training content.

  • Evaluate internal and external training programs.

  • Identify best practices, technologies, and capabilities AMZL will test across training facilities, support program expansion of the practices and applications across the network.

  • Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order.

  • Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.

  • Up to 20% travel required.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
