Amazon Supply Chain Manager, SSD Grocery, SSD Delivery in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

The candidate will be working as a member of the Sub-Same Day (SSD) delivery team as we work to provide faster than same day delivery across North America. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager with proven supply chain management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional projects and programs within our Sub Same Day Delivery offering.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for Under the roof (UTR) and On the road (OTR) quality metrics for our Grocery Delivery businesses. The supply chain manager will support delivery functions for launch of new Grocery in SSD buildings, partner on designs, build, improve and roll out new processes to reduce cost and improve quality.

This position will be open to Bellevue, WA (Greater Seattle Area, Washington) and Nashville, TN for location options.

Key job responsibilities

  • Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to proactively identify, optimize, track and report performance.

  • Developing and utilizing data inputs and KPI’s to inform operational adjustments.

  • Define and create processes that will scale to meet growing business demands.

  • Partnering with Directors, Senior Managers, and other key operational and technical leaders across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
