This position reports into the Managing Director, Philippines and is based in Paranaque City.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

A. Philippine Portfolio Marketing, Brand Experience & HCP Management

The Head of Marketing, Shopper & CXO will direct and coordinate critical processes related to business planning, local transcreation of Global comms assets/marketing plans, execution of globally led portfolio management, new product launches, price strategy, business performance/CBI tracking, and multi-channel marketing.

People management and development of the entire Marketing function are key responsibilities. He/She will manage marketing operations, budgets and agency relationships.

  • Develops annual business & marketing execution plan for growth (spike/core) brands

  • Distinctive & Consistent Brand Experiences: Transcreation of Global Coms Assets addition of non-Key Coms Assets, Social Media Management, Influencer & HCP Marketing, Consumer Service & Website Management

  • Media & Data Driven Marketing: Media Strategy, Planning & Budget, Audience Strategy, Campaign Management & Optimization

  • CXO Management: Ensuring digital and influencer marketing and brand experiences creation for Growth Brands

  • HCP Management: Scientific Engagement (Local KOLs, Associations & Congresses), Transcreation of HCP Assets & HCO Omni-Channel (Media & Content Plan, Detailing & Website Management). Includes management and KPI mapping of TPA responsible for HCP promotion of our growth brands.

  • Champions the Integrated Business Planning process for Kenvue PH portfolio (includes portfolio Management Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation & Management Review)

  • Drives End to End Execution: Leads shopper commercial and new product launch plans execution & ensure the quality, timeliness & cost effectiveness of executions

  • Execution Collaboration: Partners with the sales team to ensure robustness and customer appeal of plans (i.e. JBPs)

  • Budget Adherence: Develops proper brand/portfolio BME sufficiency and ensures adherence to the annual budget.

  • TPA Management: Establishes and manages relationships with outside vendor agencies (i.e. Media, Creative agencies, Social commerce TPAs, Consumer and HCP promotions TPAs/vendors)

  • Monitors data and action relevant insights with the Commercial teams. Provide Cluster teams with competitive information & lead local challenges.

B. Baby Care Franchise Lead

The Head of Marketing will lead the local brand deployment team and drive brand activation in country to ensure market-leading excellence in execution towards consumer, shopper, digital, e-commerce, and customer on the portfolio of Kenvue baby brands (Johnson’s Baby and Aveeno Baby).

  • Lead the business planning and delivery for baby care brands portfolio with deep understanding of the market financial plan, market needs, consumer fundamentals and customer KPIs.

  • Transcreation of Cluster Baby Comms Assets, Social Media Management, Influencer & HCP Marketing, Consumer Service & Website Management

  • Lead the 3YOP financial planning for the PH baby segment in partnership with Cluster baby zone teams for appropriate innovation and claims to win in the market. Champions the IBP process needs input for Baby care in PH.

  • HCP Marketing: Ensures proper activities to capitalize penetration amongst newborn in PH via Scientific Engagement (Local KOLs, Associations & Congresses), Transcreation of HCP Assets & HCO Omni-Channel (Media & Content Plan, Detailing & Website Management).

  • Develop close partnership with all cross functional teams in the market and cluster team for Baby in the zone. Provide Cluster teams with competitive information & lead local challenges. Thus, capacity to work in matrix organization cadence/governance is critical

  • Own key operational processes in the market including business reviews, annual business planning for the baby care for PH. Champions IBP process for baby care in PH.

  • Activate execution of plans within the marketing budget aligned with management. Support adoption & approval of local campaign material and production incl. translation and ensuring timely regulatory approvals

  • TPA Management

o Digital: Manage agency relationship and budget. Identify overall annual scope and included digital initiatives across brand portfolio. Support adoption & approval of local site and production incl. translation and ensuring regulatory approval, also applicable for other digital or social media marketing activities.

o PR: Manage agency relationship and budget. Identify overall annual scope and included PR initiatives across brand portfolio. Support execution and evaluate PR activity.

  • Sampling/WOM: Manage agency relationship and budget. Identify overall annual scope and included initiatives across brand portfolio Support team execution and evaluate sampling or WOM activity.

  • Pioneer modern marketing, usage of real-time insights and analytics and agile tools

C. Shopper Marketing for PH Activation

The Head of Marketing will manage and control all customer development (CD) executions-related activities (campaigns, merchandising and activations). He/She will provide overall leadership, guidance and execution planning expertise to the Shopper Marketing Managers in ensuring that franchise-led and account-specific activities are executed according to set standards following the Kenvue way principle/guidelines.

  • Maintains and nurtures strong partnerships with customers through regular engagements with decision-makers, planning sessions, trade visits and other meetings as needed for seamless execution of company activities

  • Strategic Portfolio Shopper Management: Identifies portfolio Assortment, RSP/ Trade Margin, Price Increase, MSL, Promotion Plan

  • Category Visioning: Category Management (Category Reviews, Shelf Layout & Specific Customer Projects)

  • Utilizes customer/shopper understanding and insights to input and contribute in the creation of a JBPs/ annual business plan of accounts

  • Works closely with CDLT, Brand, Shopper Marketing and Territory leads for the alignment of brand/national strategies to ensure seamless trade activations

  • Controls, tracks and strategically plans all executions/promotions. Ensures promo sufficiency across sectors/accounts as aligned with their annual business plans and overall company plan

  • Ensures Shopper Marketing Managers work within budgets and ensure the appropriate allocation/ disbursement of campaign/execution funds, the evaluation of their use

D. People Leadership & Development

Leading through leaders and ensuring the engagement, development and succession planning for the marketing and shopper team of Kenvue PH

  • Accountable for talent development of the Marketing (includes segment, CXO and HCP marketing) & Shopper Marketing organization – organization health, recruitment, retention, career planning & capability building

  • Key deliverable to ensure engagement levels (as measured via People/engagement periodic survey) and building benchmark for talent/talent pool not just for local but also for future Cluster/Regional roles. Plays particular attention to retention and employer of choice recommendation across team.

  • Ensures succession planning for across the levels of marketing and shopper organization leveraging on individual development plan mapping, coaching conversations and performance reviews

  • High degree of influencing skills in order to champion the team’s agenda with key stakeholders in the organization, from Commercial LT, to Cluster marketing organization, and key support stakeholders – Regulatory, Medical, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance.

  • Share best practice, provide actionable feedback on initiative performance, resolve misalignment on behalf of the local team

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or other equivalent is required. Master’s in business or marketing specialization preferred

  • A minimum of at least 10 years of progressive experience in people management in marketing and shopper marketing

  • Demonstrated track record of managing local marketing and shopper marketing operations where JTBD includes setting a vision and executional excellence on trade activation/marketing and promotion in a similar integrated brand leadership role within a consumer-packaged goods organization, preferably with a breadth of functional and/or industry experience

  • Fact-based track record of winning market share for products managed

  • Experience marketing in a digital world (i.e., social media, social commerce, influencer marketing, AI, analytics, on-line), a minimum 10 years

  • HCP/Doctor promotion /understanding

  • Proven track record of people development and leadership

  • Experience leading in a matrix environment and cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions

  • Demonstrated influencing skills, networking and interaction with matrix senior executives/managers to leverage on getting the job done for the team

  • Proven success in developing strategic agency (media, creative, HCP, social commerce) partnerships to build long term brand health and business

  • Strategic work experience in other South East Asian market is a plus
