What You Will Do

The Senior Brand Manager will direct and coordinate critical processes related to business reviews and planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, price strategy, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing. He/She will manage baby care portfolio/multiple baby brands (Johnsons Baby Shampoo & Powder) with a direct report managing Johnsons Baby Cologne/Oil/Wipes) which encompasses building marketing core capabilities in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of baby care portfolio range (Baby Shampoo, Powder, Cologne, Oil, Wipes) for optimal SKU and brand efficiency, including SKU rationalization and product lifecycle management.

  • P&L accountability for the portfolio of products handled

  • People Management: Has one (1) direct report managing part of portfolio managed (Cologne/Oil/Wipes)

  • Transcreation of assets from Cluster Brand Team on advertising assets, POSM claims, packaging etc.

  • Develop marketing and strategic plans and budgets in conjunction with the Head of Baby Care Franchise and corresponding Shopper marketing team (including launch of innovation, communications, advertising and other activities).

  • Manage the launch of any innovation pipeline for the portfolios aligned with the brand strategy and consumer insights.

  • Project management of innovation launch plans with cross functional teams

  • Lead and manage product planning and strategy development (3YOP), execution, control, analysis and evaluation of all activities associated with the portfolio.

  • Use of consumer trends and insights which can lead to new initiatives and growth.

  • Review and analyze research and shopper data to drive opportunity identification, deliver key strategic insight projects, develop and manage instore and on shelf strategies at the retail level.

  • Collaborate with Shopper Marketing and Sales to set promotional initiatives in-market.

  • Prepare brand performance and review presentations on a regular basis as required

  • Monitor data and action relevant insights with the Commercial teams. Provide Cluster teams with competitive information & lead local challenges for portfolio managed.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or other equivalent is required.

  • Minimum of at least 5 years of progressive experience in people management in marketing

  • Fact-based track record of winning market share for products managed

  • Strong marketing and commercial experience. New product development experience

  • Significant experience in developing strategy, marketing plans and the execution of campaigns

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in a digital world (i.e., social media, social commerce, influencer marketing, AI, analytics, on-line)

  • HCP/Doctor understanding is required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in a matrix environment and cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions is required

  • Demonstrated influencing skills, networking and interaction with matrix senior executives/managers to leverage on getting the job done for the team
