Summary You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the Service Shop (Code 990), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will supervise subordinate workers in accomplishing work in dry-dock maintenance, service craft, or environmental sections and/or mixed trade work. You will plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools provided for assigned units of work. You will maintain close observation and control of all work operations. You will provide expert advice and guidance on industrial equipment mechanic, electrical and engine and pump operator, processes and trade skills to management and mixed trades supervisor on assigned projects. You will execute the work assigned in accordance with the production schedule established by the zone manager.
