Position Summary/Description:
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Be CALM Program Manager position will direct and manage all program implementation activities for the Be CALM team across several federally funded projects. Work will include supervising UNC trainers who are delivering professional development and providing implementation support to educators across the state; designing and developing materials and resources for these activities based on the literature, best practice, and consultation with national experts; overseeing continuous quality improvement efforts based on implementation and outcome data; and, leading networking efforts to grow the program through ongoing collaboration with state and district educational leaders.
Education and Experience:
10 years of experience supporting K12 educators around student social-emotional and mental health
Experience designing and implementing programs of similar scope and complexity
Experience writing social-emotional curricula at the secondary level
Experience collaborating with state educational agencies
