Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Achieve sales objectives Work with analyst and general manager to monitor program goals and objectives to refine strategy based on expected results. Analyze and track department project success against department goals, benchmark results and provide ongoing strategic recommendations. Closely coordinate with all divisional leadership, brands' teams and , domestic and international customers to maximize sales Achieve key performance metrics Maintain a strong working knowledge of competitor's products, services, programs, and customer base Collaborate with the divisional General Manager and marketing to manage resources, conduct market analysis, and attend trade shows, and sales meetings Work cohesively within a multi-departmental team that is responsible for the research, development and launch of new product collections. Assist in the planning and execution of sales meetings and community goodwill events, while maintaining consistent corporate image. Contribute to the development of the ComMil annual marketing plan, focusing on meeting organizational objectives. Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for Distributors. Provide date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of productions and delivery schedules. Prepare weekly sales reports. Investigate and resolve customer problems. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate degree in business or management or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an outside sales role or combination of education and experience Military or defense department experience desired Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience in reading and understanding contracts, data analytics, business periodicals and government regulations Superb multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of social media basic principles Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public Understanding of retail math and figures such as margins, mark up, discounts, commissions, and percentages Valid driver's license Ability to travel 20% the time The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
