Jeppesen a Boeing company is looking for Senior Airline Operations Product Specialist (m/f/d) based in Neu-Isenburg, Germany who will support the BGS Incubation Portfolio in executing product growth and expansion strategies to serve new markets and deliver innovative digital solutions to our customers throughout the entire aviation industry, commercial, business and military. You will be a product and customer Subject Matter Expert (SME), with the capability and cross-functionality to support various products, teams and initiatives throughout the business product lifecycle. With tremendous airline operation knowledge, you will be seen as a valuable resource in areas including, but are not limited to product management support, product training and demo, sales support of products and services, business and technical analysis, requirements engineering and quality assurance. To be successful as an airline operations product specialist, you progress you career based on own aptitude, ability and drive, as well as the business demand and role availability. You must have a passion for the products you work with and keep expanding product knowledge. Outstanding airline operations product specialist should have a keen eye for spotting market trends, a willingness to inspire customers, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Responsibilities:
You will identify, analyze and solve customers’ technical and business challenges to quantify and differentiate the value of existing and future products
You will conduct thorough market research, which may include taking online surveys, interviews and doing desktop research, sending emails and making calls
You will gather feedback, collaborate and strategize with the business and engineering teams and make helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.
You will facilitate training sessions to sales and customers
You will conduct market research and analyze trends
You will perform product demonstrations to staff and customers
You will support answering all product-related questions in a polite manner and addressing queries promptly
You will be assisting new product launches and work with product marketing and sales to execute Go-To-Market strategies, conduct marketing campaigns and participates in customer events, webinars and social media
You will support product management with market analysis and market segmentation and the corresponding product strategy
You will support product management with competitor analysis and pricing analysis

Required Qualifications (Education & Experience):
9 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience as product specialist in customer service, pre-sale, sales, retail, business analysis, problem solving, requirements analysis or product management
Master in Business Psychology, Business Administration, Product Management, Economics or Master in Aerospace, Computer Science, Engineering or a combination of both
Extensive experience in airline operations and and/or aviation technology
Very strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Business English
Relevant experience in customer problem solving and business analysis
Experience in the successful launch of a products
Experience in working with Scaled AGILE Teams, Pre-Sales, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success Management teams
Entrepreneurial initiative with a strong ‘hands-on’ mentality, loves getting things done
Motivated by an international and fast-paced work environment with a strong team spirit and motivational character
Excels in building cohesive teams through innovation, customer focus, design thinking and professional collaboration
Ability to push boundaries while maintaining a well-structured way of working in a small team and a collaborative environment amongst business partners
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of customer management and sales would be highly desirable
Understanding of software products and technology is a plus
