Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection activities by collecting data.

  • Communicate and provide feedback to plant.

  • Enter collected data into an electronic file or database.

  • Calibrate gauges per instructions and standards.

  • Maintain gauge control database of calibration (internal and external).

  • Repair gauges (internal and send to sub-contractor for repair).

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S)

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Advanced math skills are necessary.

  • Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with other people.

  • Advanced understanding of computer workstations preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience or 2-year associates degree in Metrology is required.

  • Knowledge of CMM operation, advanced surface plate inspections, gear inspections and color lab inspections.
