RWJBH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Emergency Department on our New Brunswick Campus. This is a part-time, night position (36 hours/week).
Requirements/Qualifications
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the supervision of a professional nurse and the nurse manager in providing patient care utilizing the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
Perform specific duties and are considered an integral part of the nursing team.
Assist in the gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition.
Responsible for consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement; utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient s needs with the support of a professional nurse and/or the nurse manager.
Additional Requirements
High School Diploma Required
Graduate of accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
Valid New Jersey LPN License
BLS Healthcare License Current
Good oral and written communication skills
Must have minimum of two years clinical experience
