Defense Logistics Agency Supervisory Construction Control Representative in New Cumberland Defense Logistics Center, Pennsylvania

Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Serves as Supervisor of Contract Administration Activities for DLA Installation Management Operations Susquehanna. Oversees documentation of contract services as provided by Host at Mechanicsburg site as well as routine maintenance requirements Administering a variety of construction and service contracts including facility improvements, renovations and repairs, and services contracts such as janitorial services, elevator services, fire suppression systems, etc Oversees staff assigned to contract administration and observation for facility related projects and to routine and improvement tasks. Manages workload, make assignments, manage asset data collection and provide quality control for work performed. Manages technical planning and designing for improvements projects associated with facilities to be constructed or modified. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory Construction Control Representative your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Directs the works of the Construction. Plans work to be accomplished, and establishes priorities. Interprets policy and procedures. Assigns work to subordinates and delegates authority as necessary. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
