Job Description

Oversees the execution of stewardship activities related to recognition, especially for principal gift level and high-profile donors. Creates and maintains major donor walls; develops, implements and coordinates an innovative and comprehensive program that appropriately and consistently promotes interaction and recognition of donors at all levels. Tracks and inventories donor recognition.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Donor Engagement and Stewardship function. Acts as primary liaison with donors/vendors regarding recognition and develops organized system of identifying status of plaques/signage. Communicates with donors and management regarding status.

  • Assists fundraising staff in developing appropriate recognition strategies. Maintains rapport with major philanthropists and trustees.

  • Identifies opportunities to steward principal level donors based on their giving, generosity and interests.

  • Updates appropriate databases to maintain donor recognition files and enhance donor relationship for continued donations.

  • Supports fundraising projects for donor recognition. Serves as Foundation liaison with Facilities and other organization departments.

  • Develops and implements an innovative and comprehensive stewardship program for the Foundation. Collaborates on stewardship and recognition design program.

  • Serves as Foundation designated representative with design consultants and assists with fundraising events which support select Foundation initiatives.

  • Interacts with Trustees and other major donors regarding plaques/signage and other forms of recognition.

  • Manages relationships with donor recognition vendors. Negotiates cost and ensures brand compliance and uniformity of standards with outside vendors.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $85,090-$147,220/year
