We are seeking a Senior Life Sciences Lead & Architect based from any of our offices in the US (Atlanta, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Dallas). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Life Sciences, Higher-Education and Corporate markets.

What you’ll do

Experienced in design and delivery of high-tech Life Sciences, new construction architecture projects.

A team member to help expand our presence in Life Sciences nationwide. Ability to grow and manage a technical team.

Responsible for business development and handling client accounts, often as the primary daily contact with client’s in critical facilities, life sciences, and higher education.

Responsible for the success of projects, including design quality, financial management, client happiness and team management

Conducts design reviews with team to promote innovative design solutions

Interprets contracts and coordinates staffing/work plans to provide required scope of work

Assigns team duties, responsibilities and scope of authority

Reviews contract documents for completeness and organization. Prepares and manage budgets, construction/procurement budgets

Identifies and prepares project proposals and add services with review from studio and project leadership

Implements and coordinates QA/QC process within the project schedule.

Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)

What you’ll need

  • A Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.Arch) or Master's Degree (M.Arch) in Architecture from a four-year college or university with an accredited architectural curriculum (National Architectural Accrediting Board or Canadian Architectural Certification Board).

  • 11+ years’ experience.

  • Professional licensure is preferred

  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience with AutoCAD and construction management tools such as Procore a plus.

Equal Pay Disclaimer

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
