Robert Half Technical Program Manager III in New York, Maryland
Description
Robert Half’s top clients has a program manager opening to be responsible for developing and managing projects that impact a new customer-facing physical marketing channel.
Daily Schedule:
The projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of security, performance, availability, and reliability. You will act as a bridge between our technical and marketing teams that rely on our infrastructure to launch related campaigns. Other responsibilities include defining requirements, owning sprint planning across our technical teams, identifying trade-offs, communicating timely updates to leadership and investigating data and analytics problems as they arise. The TPM will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience in technical program management working directly with software and data engineering teams
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Excellent written and oral communication
Should be familiar with program management tools such as JIRA or Asana
Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
A record of successful delivery of software products from conception through business case and customer deployment
Ability to work the business side of projects to drive deployment of new products
An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Familiar with SQL and/or knowledge of data tools, infrastructure and managing data requirements
