JPMorgan Chase Advisor Compensation Financial Analysis - Vice President in New York, New York

As an Advisor Compensation Financial Analysis Vice President in the Chase Wealth Management Field Finance team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support of our advisor compensation processes which will include forecasting, budgeting, modeling, ad hoc analyses, tracking and reporting on advisor compensation and metrics that drive advisor compensation. As Vice President, you will own end to end oversight of the Chase Wealth Management Advisor Compensation P&L, as well as partner with key business stakeholders to strategize on compensation design initiatives. You will also provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

For this role, the candidate must be able to physically work in the New York, NY office 3 days a week and remotely from om 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis including annual budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variances, and modeling incentive awards

  • Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and present commentary to senior leadership explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets and support ad hoc special requests

  • Develop next generation reporting of metrics that drive advisor compensation, enhance controls and identify areas for automation

  • Partner with business stakeholders to assess comp plan changes and understand strategy enhancements to compensation plans to drive desired behaviors

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and finance partners across JPMWM to meet analytical requirements and timelines

  • Establish relationships with the team and our business partners while learning the business inside out

  • Provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to junior staff members

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (forecasting, budgeting, P&L, month-end close, expense/revenue management, etc.)

  • Advanced skills in Excel (synthesizing large data sets) and PowerPoint

  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly

  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis Teams

  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in Financial Services, and/or compensation background
