We are looking for a US Agency Development Lead to join Team Snapchat! You'll build and manage partnerships with Snap’s Largest Global Media Agencies to help them expand their digital presence on Snapchat. Working from our NY office, you'll need extensive business development expertise, great solution selling, operational and people skills, the ability to manage many projects at once, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising world.

What you'll do:

  • Define and execute US strategy to accelerate revenue growth for your designated Holding Company

  • Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities across various departments within the Holding Company

  • Hold responsibility for the financial performance of your Holding Company; work to ensure annual and quarterly partnership targets are met

  • Act as the trusted primary point of contact, escalation point and thought leader for your Holding Company

  • Firmly establish Snapchat as a leading brand building and business driving platform in the eyes of multiple Agency constituents

  • Develop and deliver scaled education & programming across all Agency disciplines (media, digital, strategic planning)

  • Conduct formal business reviews with Holding Company and Operating agency leadership and key constituencies

  • Understand Agencies’ businesses and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs

  • Provide best-in-class client service and partnership across all facets of Agency incl. Executive, Investment, Planning, Social and Research

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth across new and existing customers

  • Track revenue performance across the Holding Company portfolio in the US and determine corrective measures where needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally

  • Understanding of Snapchat value proposition, and the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas into plain language

  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • Proven ability to build relationships at the C-level across the business both internally and externally with market reputation

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 12+ years of business development, marketing, brand advertising, agency, media sales and/or online advertising experience leading businesses or accounts

  • Experience working with executive contacts and growing revenue through the development of long term partnerships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in business business development, sales, and marketing in a sales/commission-based role to advertising agencies

  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally

  • Understanding of Snapchat value proposition, and the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas into plain language

  • Experience working with deeply nuanced organizations, dealing with ambiguity, and an ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholders

  • Experience in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • Proven ability to build relationships at the C-level across the business both internally and externally with market reputation

  • Direct agency management experience at similar company

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $222,000-$333,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $211,000-$316,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $189,000-$283,000 annually.

This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive program.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
